[Gaming Mice] Logitech g602
I don't know why suddenly I'm considering it, but after spending 2/3 of my life playing FPS on the PC I'm looking at going to a wireless mouse.
In particular this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104914
Initially I didn't consider wireless to be an option but the more I look into it everything sounds vastly improved in regards to input lag and signal interruption issues. Most reviews I find say the mouse operates/reads from up to 6 feet away from the sensor. That sounds pretty impressive to me. Higher scale options weigh in over $100 which is more than I'd ever spend on a mouse/headset/keyboard - but the 60ish price tag sounds reasonable as I read through all the feedback..
Anyone ever use this thing? General feedback on wireless gaming mice?

Bought it last Friday - the more I read or watch youtube reviews the more I can't wait to play with my new toy!!
It will be like Christmas... Part 2.
Stay tuned for my feedback.
Btw, it hurts me to say that in this case Amazon > Newegg.
Newegg wanted $79 plus shipping - I found a seller on Amazon asking for $58 and shipping was free. Yum.

Re: [Gaming Mice] Logitech g602
Finally had a moment during the week to set up the new mouse..
Bumped my sens up from .95 to 1.34 and ended up sticking with 2 batteries instead of taking one out to reduce weight.. you get used to the heavier mouse feel pretty fast.
It's very smooth and in the 2 practice CA games I didn't notice any input lag. I'm pretty happy with it. I just need to figure out if I need to actually turn it off when I'm not using my computer - not sure if it will go into a hibernation of sorts and conserve the battery life (?)
The only drawback I can think of is that I don't like the 6 side buttons and it's hard to really know where you're at on the mouse without looking - they all feel the same. My solution was to assign both keys in each row to the same weapon. Row 1 both keys are SG, row 2 both keys are RL, row 3 both keys are LG.
In an RPG environment I bet the key arrangement is great but not so much for a fast paced game like qlive.
One thing also to note - if you're a "claw" grip player this mouse may not agree with you. I'm a "palm" grip guy and this is PERFECT for that type of player. My hand fits this mouse amazingly well - probably the biggest plus outside the smooth tracking. For comparison purposes -> my hands are average size; can almost palm a basketball but not quite completely.
But yea, if you can find it for a sale price and are looking for a new mouse to try it I'd definitely say give it consideration.
p.s. I wasn't kidding when I said I'm in love with the thumb rest - with all my previous mice my thumb slowly slides down to the bottom edge of the mouse and rags on the mousepad - this is a problem of the past!
