I pretty much have always stayed 100 or below in my adult life; but this choice is greatly influenced by the fact I'm too stubborn to get my eyes checked and my vision isn't the greatest so I can't see very well with higher fov choices.

With that being said - which setting do you find to be the most beneficial?  If you go too high things tend to get skewed and objects that actually relatively close appear miles away - this has always tripped me out a bit.  However, there's always the argument that movement is considerably improved with these higher values along with a general better understanding of your surroundings.

Speak.  Share.  Enlighten.

Let's hear your thoughts.

Mine's at 95 100.. there are a couple of other factors that will be at play here... your screensize and sensitivity.
Essentially you can afford to increase your fov if you have a bigger screen and lower sensitivity. Based on these, you should experiment with incre/decrements of +/-5 and narrow down to the one that you are most comfortable with..

Whats more interesting too is the zoomfov. should be different for different arenas Smile

Zoomfov has been 45 for me forever - i felt like a noob when I recenly discovered there's a command to unzoom upon death (lol).

I'm a bit late to that party...   Laughing

To elaborate on your comment I have a 17inch lcd and run the game @ 800 X 600.  I can't hit a damn thing with high resolution for some reason - in any game. I remember trying to play Urban Terror on my native resolution - I went from a 3:1 kill to death ratio to barely being a 1:1 - weird eh?
